TABC is on the front lines of dismantling human trafficking organizations with connections to the alcoholic beverage industry. The Commission’s authority gives agents the unparalleled ability to uncover criminal enterprises that use bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants and other businesses to hide their illegal activity.
Victim Services at TABC provides an avenue for victims of trafficking to disclose their victimization in a trauma informed manner. Victim Service Coordinator is able to explain the process of reporting a victims victimization and assists in referring victims to supportive care in the community.
