Victim expressed that the relationship between her and defendant was abusive. Defendant is charged with F1 -injury to her child. Victim expressed she wanted to seek a protective order because she is worried about defendant wanting to make contact with her. Victim stated that defendant wouldn't leave her out of his sight at the beginning of this investigation. Victim stated that she found out he has told other people that they are still together, when this is not true. Victim is also concerned because she was cooperative in the investigation which ultimately aided in his arrest.
CW needs legal help with child custody. CW has a protective order against D. It expires May 2021. CW does not know how to go about child custody due to having a protective order against D. She is aware that she has to be in communication with D for child custody, but is not sure how that would work since she has a PO against him.
Pregnant victim- had to move after assault. Needs financial support. Has applied for CVC for relocation assistance but they are moving very slow on approving applications right now.
Assault Family Violence- Strangulation case. Victim needs immediate legal help getting her property and property for her child from the defendants home.
Case is domestic violence- CW is still getting contact from D and his family despite the EPO in place. I've advised her to report the unwanted contact to the jail and she can file a police report for the family contact. She also is having custody issues with her ex (not the D) whom took their child after this incident and is now filing custody proceedings to keep the child. CW needs legal advice/assistance.
client has been a victim of Domestic Violence and sexual abuse and wants to know her rights as a wife. (Client is spanish speaking)
Viranya is an immigrant from Thailand who came to the United States for a marriage with Harry Chessher. She has been the victim of domestic violence in Orange County, Texas. She has an Emergency Protective Order for 61 days. She would like to divorce Harry Chessher, but does not have financial means to hire an attorney.
Divorce and SAPCR. 1 child.
The victim in this case was a victim of AFV. The defendant was charged with Arson after he burned down the house that they were living in. The victim has been living in a hotel and has exhausted her resources. She lost her job as a result of not having transportation. She has a service dog which makes finding housing difficult. She has filed a CVC application however it's been closed due to not getting the report from the Fire Marshall. We are working on getting that report to send to CVC.
D has charges of AFV. D has now taken the 11 month old child and will not return him to the mother. There are no custody orders at this time. Mother of the child was a stay at home mom due to the D asking her to do so. The client is trying to find work and so that she can get custody of the child.
