I represent client in immigration removal proceedings. While she was detained proceedings were initiated against her by her abusive ex-husband who is currently in charge of their 2 sons. I do not see any legal custody determination at this point. There is currently a SAPCR pending asking for conservatorship appointed and child support from Ms. Rojas if she is deemed not to be the primary conservator. Ms Rojas has been in immigration detention since last September and was just released on 4/17/20. She has not been able to attend any settings although her abuser has. Ms.

Client wants assistance in obtaining U-VISA due to being victim of a violent crime. The incident occurred November 21st 2019 around 8pm. Client was shot by his brother in law in an attempt to keep him from killing two other people. Client has complied with police in trying to find the adverse party and was interview in January of 2020.Client was in a coma for 2 days, and hospitalized for 10 days total. Client currently has a job that he has worked at for 20 years, but would like a work permit so he can change jobs and earn more money for his family.

Jaeda Daniels' Aunt Lisa Alexander was referred to Lone Star Legal for custody assistance. Lisa Alexander no longer wants to pursue guardianship of Jaeda and has sent her to live with Jaeda's brother, Justin. Justin needs assistance to get legal guardianship of Jaeda. Jaeda's mother died almost two years ago and no one has been identified as her legal guardian. Jaeda is
a 13 year old minor and currently a victim in 3 FBI child exploitation cases.

Lisa Alexander is the maternal Aunt of minor victim Jaeda Daniels. Jaeda's mother died and Jaeda came to live with her Aunt. Aunt needs assistance with court papers she has filed for conservatorship of Jaeda. She is unsure of the process and is having trouble navigating the court system. Jaeda is a Federal crime victim of child exploitation.

Antonia and Javier need assistance with custody paperwork of their 1 year old grandson. 16 year old daughter, Sophia, mother of 1 year old, is wanting to give custody to her parents. Sophia is a trafficking victim in which the FBI investigated and eventually the subject was prosecuted and convicted of trafficking. I'm not sure if the proper wording is conservatorship, custody or guardianship.
