She is from Coahuila, Mexico.  Entered 11/23/22. She entered through Piedras Negras / Eagle Pass. She entered w/a Visa (tourist). Her Visa is still valid.  She was to come to visit w/relatives and her fiancée.  She was engaged in Mexico and they married in the US in May 03, 2023 in Waco, TX. She states that they married in Waco because AP Husband got a DWI and he could not drive.  She remained in Waco but began to suffer DV at the hands of her husband.

CW is a victim of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Assault with a Deadly weapon. She is a Spanish speaker and needing assistance with U-Visa information and I think counseling might help her. She has been given a victim impact statement and cvc packet. She may need assistance in filling them out. She does not have an ID or passport from Honduras, nor US.  She states her parents brought her here at age 2. Her mother got caught by Border Patrol around March 15, 2006. She states her mother got a U3 Visa approximately ?  In addition, her mother got her, as her child, a U3 Visa. Border entry was through Hidalgo, TX.  To client's knowledge her mother had a lot of personal issues herself and did not take care of her legal affairs.

Ms. Dimas was brought to the US at age 4 by her parents under a tourist visa. They overstayed their Visa and client was raised here.  Ms. Dimas currently is before USCIS as a DACA recipient and she has a current DACA extension. Ms. Dimas and AP Husband Robert Cortina were formally married in 05/2020.  They have 3 children together. AP is currently in TDCJ - Roach Unit due to being convicted of Indecency w/ a child-one of the COM.  Serving 5 years.

She is calling regarding a custody case. AP is Javier Meraz and he lives in Groves, (Jefferson Co), Texas. The couple lived together from 06/06/2006 to 2020. Separated at that time due DV. AP hit her. She did not call the police. She states that in the last 3 years AP has been financially helping. Mostly consistently until Nov. 2023.

Client was born in Mexico DF.  She first came to US in 2002 at the age of 9. Brought by her parents and entered through Laredo, TX illegally. No revision by CBP.  She has never been detained.  That is all the information she has.  She suffered DV, SA and arson at the hands of her ex-BF Jose Lorenzo Hernandez Valerio - He is Mexican also.
