Dulce is a survivor with pending U visa and VAWA applications. She has six U.S. citizen children and her marital status is single. She is in need of family law services for custody and child support and is also interested in a protective order. Christopher Davila, one of her adverse parties (AP) is the father of her youngest child whom she has been separated from. AP was physically violent to Dulce during their relationship and has continued to harass her since. He was arrested, charged, and convicted for violent assault including strangulation.

The client had reported incidents of stalking from her former husband, but the case was no-billed. She still has financial issues she needs assistance with, as well as child support. She also wants assistance obtaining the case information used in her case or help with a public records request. 

The client is seeking assistance with proceeding with divorce, custody, and child support matters. The divorce process has been ongoing since April 2024, and the case has been rescheduled multiple times. The client has reported that the opposing party became upset upon her filing for custody and subsequently made false accusations of child abuse and endangerment. The client possesses police documentation supporting the falsity of these allegations. Additionally, the client has retained two attorneys, one in April 2024 and another in June 2024, but no progress has been made in the case.
