Sarena is the victim in a case that was dismissed against her dad today.  The original charge was AFV impede breath.  She no longer has bond conditions or a protective order in place.  She has already tried for a protective order once but was thrown out.  The other major issue is the land she lives on.  It is deeded to an aunt, but the aunt doesn't live there.  She was given permission by the aunt to live there but fighting with her dad\defendant over the property.  Sarena's mom died due to overdose when Sarena was very young.  Dad and his girlfriend have continued to cheat the system in an

Victim stated that defendant’s mother filed victim and defendant’s tax return as married, filing jointly. They are, however, not married. They were engaged to be married but the wedding was postponed. The victim was using a car that D had purchased for her to use. She’d like to know what legal rights she has to the car, as well as property that was left in the rental home that she and D both resided in.

The victim in this case is very young, Relay, his grandparents have been my main point of contact. They're needing assistance with the eviction process and also with protective order questions. Defendant is the father of the victim and has an extensive criminal history.  The victim had his eye socket fractured from this assault. He lives with his grandparents.

Mr. Est was assaulted by his roommate. That was somehow missed in the booking process so he was not granted an emergency protective order. He is concerned about he and his wife's safety due to their age and the defendant being significantly younger than them. The defendant has pled and sentenced to 45 days in the Montgomery County jail. He does not have an email address.

The victim in this case had several thousand dollars essentially stolen from her, at this time it's a misdemeanor charge.  I believe she is wanting assistance with going after the defendant to sue him civilly. I did make her aware that eligibility is based off of income.

This defendant now has three charges total involving this victim.  The initial AFV and has now picked up VPO and CT.  She was not given an EPO initially because it was a warrant case.  She was apprehensive about applying because she was told she had to qualify.  I explained what that means so she is more interested in trying now but still has questions. The defendant uses his children to get the victim to give in to him.

Joy (goes by Giga) was assaulted by her husband - initially she wanted to drop the assault charges.  However, he returned to her apartment after being released from jail and essentially held her captive for a week while planning a murder suicide.  She was able to break free while taking her dog for a walk and called 911 for help. She is wanting to apply for a final protective order and needs assistance.

Ms. Akins was assaulted by her daughter - unfortunately an EPO was not granted due to the officer failing to put what their familial relationship was.  The defendant pled this morning and is going to be released soon.  The victim is scared that the defendant is going to come after her once she is released from the jail since there is nothing prohibiting her from doing so.

This victim is from a prior closed case, she has had to relocate due to the defendant finding out where she lives and repeatedly driving by her house.  Her mother died while the case was pending and she is without a job, and any real family support. She is wanting help on modifying her final protective order to reflect her new address.
