SAPCR filed in Polk County by Respondent (Adverse Party)
client is not married to the father of her newborn child, but abuse has occured. She is in the process of applying for a Protective Order.
Client is seeking assistance in obtaining sole custody with supervised visitation for her 3 children. Last abuse was 9/2019 when adverse party threatened to kill client. There is currently a protective order in place that includes the children There has been history of DV prior to the last incident.
D has charges of AFV. D has now taken the 11 month old child and will not return him to the mother. There are no custody orders at this time. Mother of the child was a stay at home mom due to the D asking her to do so. The client is trying to find work and so that she can get custody of the child.
Client has been divorce from husband but was living still with husband, has an incident a week ago and a temporary protective order is in place and adverse party in jail. client wants a modification of the previous order. charges have been place on him due to the incident.
Client has concerns regarding her children's safety with the father, due to him not having a stable place to live.
Client has been a victim of physical and verbal abuse and wants custody of her child
