The parties went to court in June 2024, and the court made a ruling in their SAPCR case. However, an order still has not been entered. Opposing party's attorney sent client a copy of the proposed order and is wanting client to sign. Client said she did not understand certain parts where it talked about her visitation.

Client needs assistance with getting daughter back from ex-husband. Temporary order was in place from previous lawyer and was unaware and used against her in court to where dad became the custodial parent. Custody is not 50/50 she is allowed once per month and 2 hours on Thursday. Dad is neglectful towards child has evidence. Daughter is 15 months old. The divorce was finalized in Liberty County, but the adverse party lives in Montgomery County. Client had to move back with her parents in Cherokee County. 

The client is seeking assistance with proceeding with divorce, custody, and child support matters. The divorce process has been ongoing since April 2024, and the case has been rescheduled multiple times. The client has reported that the opposing party became upset upon her filing for custody and subsequently made false accusations of child abuse and endangerment. The client possesses police documentation supporting the falsity of these allegations. Additionally, the client has retained two attorneys, one in April 2024 and another in June 2024, but no progress has been made in the case.

Parents of three children. Domestic Abuse continually. Choto is here is illegally. He has lived in the states for 12 years. We are not married, but he continues to threaten to take the kids and run. Choto is very violent. I have left him numerous times, but he always tells me that he will take the kids and run. He lives 1851 HWY 754, Sunset La 70584. I came to the District Attorney's Office for help, but they are unable to help me because all the abuse happened in Louisiana. Choto has come to my parents' home and threaten us. I am afraid of what he might try to do to me and the family.

Guardian (Amy Russell) of a child victim in a closed criminal case reach out to me to let me know that the biological mother (Nicole Gunderson) of the child victim (who has not had custody of the child or sibling since 2021) has been the one who claimed and received reimbursement from Crime Victims' Compensation as well as other benefit offices (Food Stamps, TANF, etc.). Guardian is trying to contact everyone to correct the custody information and cease those benefits to bio mom. I am making a referral for any additional guidance for the guardian. 

Victim of DV with living partner. They have 1yo child. Victim currently living with mother. Abuser calls her from different numbers and asked her to go back home and tells her he wants to see his son.
