This victim is from a prior closed case, she has had to relocate due to the defendant finding out where she lives and repeatedly driving by her house.  Her mother died while the case was pending and she is without a job, and any real family support. She is wanting help on modifying her final protective order to reflect her new address.

These charges with our office are disposed and the victim was not awarded restitution to pay for damages to her vehicle.  She was asking how the process works when trying to sue him civilly.

Laura has a pending case against her father for criminal trespass - this stems from an ongoing custody battle over her youngest daughter.  She had legal questions about how that case will intertwine with the criminal case - and how she can use the criminal case to aid her with the custody case.

Arthur Theriot (defendant) assaulted Michele - he bit her genitals and caused her severe pain and nerve damage.  She has been severely traumatized as a result of this incident and had legal questions that I could not answer for her.

The victim in this case lives on the same property as her daughter and daughter's boyfriend (Clinton Langley) the property was bought and put into the daughter's name with the agreement that Jennifer could live there as well.  Since this assault, the daughter and defendant have been trying to evict Jennifer.  She suffers from traumatic brain injury from a prior unreported assault by the same defendant. She is 100% disabled, she cannot drive, and cannot look at a computer screen for long periods of time. She has no income and no where to go.

The victim in this case would like to speak to an attorney about applying for a protective order.  She has lots of questions about the judicial process in general. She asked if she needed an attorney - I explained that it's not necessary for our purposes but it was up to her. She works long hours - so she can sometimes be difficult to get in touch with.

The victim in this case has been harassed by the defendant for years.  They were never in any type of relationship, but they went to a private charter school together for high school.  She said he has progressively gotten worse in the last year or so.  She is in the process of buying a house and would like to know how to get the records sealed so that he cannot obtain her new address.  I told her about the paperwork with the tax office, but I wasn't sure if there was something more that could be done to truly seal the records.
