Defendant murdered Rosa's daughter Kassandra. Defendant was husband to victim. Kassandra had 2 children. Rosa is working with CASA and CPS to get full custody. Rosa needs assistance with legal paperwork for banks, life insurance benefits, custody, crime victims compensation etc. CVC claim # VC19167741

Extreme domestic violence victim, including kidnapping, torture, rape, stalking, over extended period of time. Secondary victimization, police not believing her or offering appropriate assistance. Victim was victimized in multiple counties. Victim lives in constant fear of the defendant. Victim needs help with permanent housing, disability re-establishment, mental health. Has history of homelessness and drug abuse (self medicating, when unable to get Mental Health meds). Is currently inpatient at Woodlands Spring Hospital. Is seeking to do an extended daily outpatient program with them.

Client is seeking assistance in obtaining permanent protective order, legal assistance with divorce, and legal assistance in regards to finances. (Client states that suspect is withholding tax return income)

This victim is the mother. Her daughter was a victim of sexual assualt and the perp is an older boy and there is a pending case with MCDAO. She said her husband got arrested for a traffic ticket and is now in immigration she said it's hard because she feels they need him around especially with all that is going on with their daughter. She needs advice or help on what their options are. Is this something you all can help with or give her advice or possibly point her in the right direction?

Hey so this lady named Nora Piedra called re: a case involving her daughter. She said that her daughter was a victim and and older boy was the perp. She said she's been talking to Lupe at CSH but she feeling like it's taking a long time and she hasn't heard anything (I did tell her those things are a process but she should talk to you to get more info). I assume you may be able to help her or at least point her in the right direction because she speaks Spanish so it will either be you or Amy either way.
