On going divorce/SAPCR case for a current legal client.  Client is in need of representation as current attorney is leaving the organization.  Opposing party hired new legal counsel after previous attorney had attempted multiple times to encourage an agreement, and opposing party refused to attend mediation or provide required documentation necessary for trial. 

Client has a signed Authorization Agreement for Nonparent Relative from child's parents.  The now 16 year old child has been living with Client since November of 2023, after allegations of abuse from child to Client.  Parents have attempted to get child back by calling police once in November, but child talked to police and said he did not want to go back, and detailed abuse to officer. Officer did not force child back with parents.

Client seeking assistance with an ongoing Divorce/SAPCR.  Client originally registered with the OAG for CS and Conservatorship orders.  Opposing party responded with a cross petition for divorce.  Opposing party has a history of domestic violence against client and is seeking primary conservatorship.  Client has primary caregiver since birth, and has on going health issues.  Opposing party has representation and the case is set for final trial in October.  

Client is very concerned about the living conditions of her disabled adult daughter. She as received texts and phone calls from her daughter claiming that she is not having her medical needs met and attacked by other residents in her group home.  Her ex-husband has guardianship over their daughter but is not taking daughter's reports or clients concerns seriously.  Last report she had from her ex husband is that her daughter was admitted to a psychiatric facility in Houston. Wants to pursue obtaining guardianship over daughter.  Original guardianship order was issued out of Ft.

Mom needs a SAPCR order for her 7 year old daughter.  No current order in place.  Her ex has had her daughter since October and she has had no contact with her. Currently, dad and daughter are in Waller county and Mom is in Liberty county.  The dad has an extensive criminal background and may be facing current criminal charges. 
 

The mom's husband filed for divorce in San Jacinto County in May 2023. In August, She filed a report with CPS against her husband after her son told her about some behavior he witnessed involving his dad and possibly the sister.  The children's ages are 6, 4, and 3. Client has already attempted to hire an attorney in August, but that attorney has not completed any work on the case and refuses to refund her money. Currently, her husband has the children and refuses to return them until after the new year. She needs a Spanish speaking attorney to assist her.  

Protective order and SAPCR for client needed against perpetrator.  Perpetrator has a history of stalking the client in the past and has gone on the run with the child previously.  

Domestic Violence victim wanting assistance with obtaining a PO.  States previous DV history but unreported.  Couple is married with one child.  Couple has been separated for about 2-3 years.  Victim recently made a police report regarding an assault but charges were declined by the DA's office.  There is not a current divorce or custody order.  Parties are following a verbal custody agreement between themselves.  Victim attempted to apply for a PO through the DA's office but was denied.  Per the DA's office there were previous filings for divorce in the county and even though nothing ever
