There are current sexual assault charges of a child against the defendant, Anthony Wiener. The case is going to be dismissed due to being unable to verify where the incident occurred. They cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the case happened within the state of Texas. The mother is currently filing for a divorce pro se; however she is concerned about the defendant getting visitation rights to the child.

PS

Defendant is charged with Indecency with a Child (daughter). Rachel Ashworth has filed for divorce but defendant is refusing to sign anything and is trying to have his attorney request zoom call with Rachel, Rachel feels this is an intimidation tactic and per conditions of bond he is not supposed to have any contact.

The client is a victim of domestic violence, the most recent incident occurring December 16, 2020. Since that time an emergency protective order and bond conditions have prevented contact between the adverse party (her husband), the client and their two boys. She works but does not have the means to hire an attorney. She also is caretaker for her dad who has dementia and other health issues. She has shared with me that there is a long history of domestic violence going back approximately 12 years, and prior to this incident she was contemplating divorce.
