Applicant would like assistance with an immigration/U-Visa matter. She is a victim of sexual assault (rape) and domestic violence at the hands of the father of her 7 year old child. Client has been in the United States for 26 years. Investigation regarding the DV/SA is pending.
Applicant is a victim of kidnapping and attempted SA by strangers in late March 2020. She would like assistance to obtain a U-Visa or assistance with her immigration process.

Client wants assistance in obtaining U-VISA due to being victim of a violent crime. The incident occurred November 21st 2019 around 8pm. Client was shot by his brother in law in an attempt to keep him from killing two other people. Client has complied with police in trying to find the adverse party and was interview in January of 2020.Client was in a coma for 2 days, and hospitalized for 10 days total. Client currently has a job that he has worked at for 20 years, but would like a work permit so he can change jobs and earn more money for his family.
Client is a SA victim; Residing in Harris County; VAWA.

Applicant is currently living in a shelter in Harris County has been in the US for a year. Applicant does not have a job Applicant previously had a tourist visa. Then she was able to get a work permit, and she was going to leave when it expired but then she met ex-boyfriend. Applicant moved to Houston and met her boyfriend and they moved into together and lived together for 8 months until he became violent. The applicant fled and had a friend turn in her visa because it had expired and she wanted to stay in the US. She had a work permit not visa. Applicant still has a tourist visa.
