Michael seeked a Protective Order for his children agaisnt Courtney (mother). He was granted an Ex-parte but has a PO hearing on Monday December 14th. Michael does not have any legal representaion and needs advise on what he can do. A CPS cas has been filed where Courtney is listed as the AP.

D is not interested with kids, may have aggression towards children. D's mother enables D and helps D to threaten and harass victim. Victim has a home that is in her name, but somehow has had an eviction notice left on her door. D's mother will sit in front of the door and not allow victim to come into the home.

Client is wanting information about how to obtain guardianship of her granddaughter. Mother of child left child with Client when she was 2 years old. Client had been caring for child ever since. Mother of child contacted police and wanted child back. Child is now 14 years old. Since no paperwork in place, child was returned to mother by police. Client has concerns about child and her well being, child has made comments about suicide/running away due to the environment she is now in.

Client is seeking immigration services at Catholic Charities. She has suffered domestic violence and sexual assault perpetrated by her ex-boyfriend. They have a child together. She is looking to petition for custody of their daughter. She is unsure of location of father, but believes him to be in Texas.

Defendant is now and jail awaiting trial for abusing his bio daughter. Defendant has a son that victims mother has cared for since he was 6 months old. The Bio mother of child signed her rights to the defendant, but victims mother is the one who has been caring for the child. Victims mother is concern about not having documentation that states she cares for the child. She would like help in trying to obtain something that states that the child is in her care and not the defendants.
