Client is a survivor of DV/SA perpetrated by her spouse. After their separation, she purchased a car from Otto's Auto World. She signed a contract and paid a down payment of several thousand dollars. They never delivered the vehicle. She'd like to bring suit to force delivery of the vehicle or refund her down payment.

Defendant is charged with theft of $17K from an elderly victim. She gave the defendant her entire savings to be able to provide her a cover for her well water. Since he stole the money and did not complete the job instead, she is unable to pay someone else to provide the needed construction. She is in constant fear of something happening to her well and her being without water on her property.
