Client has a signed Authorization Agreement for Nonparent Relative from child's parents.  The now 16 year old child has been living with Client since November of 2023, after allegations of abuse from child to Client.  Parents have attempted to get child back by calling police once in November, but child talked to police and said he did not want to go back, and detailed abuse to officer. Officer did not force child back with parents.

Client is seeking a protective order against adverse party. Adverse party has slashed client's tires several times and the latest time was yesterday, 8/6/2024. Adverse party has followed client to her friend's home, her home, her mom's home and her boyfriend's home. Adverse party has sent client and client's daughter text messages stating that he wants to commit suicide.

On 7/3/24, victim's husband attempted to shoot her. Parties have been married for nine years and had been separated for about a month when the incident occurred. The suspect was arrested. Victim is asking for assistance with getting a divorce. 

Victim's husband has been physically abusing her since they were dating. Victim states the physical abuse has gotten much worse since they married in 2021. Victim has not reported the abuse because the abuser tells her that no one will believe her. He takes videos or her and records her crying saying that she is crazy. The victim has pictures of several of the injuries she has received in the past. The victim is scared to make report because the suspect told her if she reports him he will have her papers taken away. Parties live together.

Client is in need of legal representation to assist with custody modification against her abuser who has custody of her children. Client also needs assistance with her criminal case against her abusers who sexually assaulted her for years as a child. Client's sexual assault occurred in Harris County, but client lives in Galveston County.
